Helichrysum is sometimes called Immortelle or Everlasting, it is among the wide variety of ‘strawflowers’ The name is derived from the Greek: helios meaning sun, and chrysos meaning gold. As a skin cell rejuvenator It has been used to resolve scar tissue, smooth the signs of aging and has been seen to heal pre-skin cancer lesions.  Of course this is not scientifically proven through years of research only through small scale experimentation.
